Child ticket and fare (including express train tickets, limited express train tickets, and reserved seat tickets) are half of the adult fare (rounded down to the ten yen).

Child tickets are not available on the Green car or GranClass seats. If you would like to ride those, please purchase adult ticket for the child.

Preschooler 1 to 5 years old Free of charge.

Infant Under 1 year old Free of charge.

A child cannot use the japantrain ticketless service alone.
